Harrington Entertainment and Sideshow Pictures have announced that they have teamed up to present an online destination for horror short films. Each Wednesday, The Boneyard will be offering a new horror short.
The Boneyard will provide viewers with the opportunity to view short films from Sideshow Pictures back catalogue with new content premiering every Wednesday. Titles available from the back catalogue will include Night of the Pumpkin, The House that Cried Blood, and Children of the Witch.
Amon the new titles that will be premiering on the site are David Lilley’s Rellik. The new title for last week was George A. Tarmacs’ #Selfie. The newest title to debut on the site was Home Sweet Home from director Frank Sabatella.
All in all, this is a really good thing for horror fans and aspiring filmmakers alike. There are a lot of short films being produced – some of which are quite good – and most of them fail to get much attention. Until now, they have lived on Vimeo or YouTube and only the works of well know directors like Drew Daywalt have really seemed to take off. The Boneyard will hopefully remedy that and provide a place where horror fans can connect with quality short films.
