Re-Animator: The Musical recently made the announcement, via their official website, that the show will be coming out of retirement and enjoying another run. In the past, the production has been performed in New York, Los Angeles, and Edinburgh. Today, we have received news regarding official engagements. Come inside for details.

The production will be held at The Steve Allen Theater in Hollywood, CA.
• Previews start Fri. 10/10
• Official opening Fri. 10/17
• Runs through Sun. 11/2
• Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays at 8:00pm
Lead actors Graham Skipper (as Herbert West) and Jesse Merlin (as Dr. Carl Hill) will be back! This latest incarnation will mark the inclusion of a few new songs!

During the show’s last exhibition, the production was awarded a total of Six L.A. Weekly Theater awards, including the award for ‘Best Musical’ and ‘Best Musical Ensemble’. The stage adaptation is directed by Stuart Gordon who directed the Re-Animator feature film. The narrative structure is penned by Dennis Paoli, Stuart Gordon and William J. Norris with music and lyrics by Mark Nutter. For tickets to the show, check the production’s official website,

The loose plot outline of the stage play parallels the events that transpire in the film: Herbert West discovers a formula that proves effective in re-animating the dead. The show was first performed at the Steve Allen Theater in 2011. As with the stage adaptation of The Evil Dead, the first three rows in the Re-animator stage play are deemed the ‘Splatter Zone’. Anyone seated in that section should expect to leave covered in arterial spray.
