Image Entertainment and RLJ Entertainment have announced that their unrated ‘found footage’ horror film The Paranormal Diaries: Clophill is coming to DVD and Digital Download September 30th. So, if paranormal fare is your thing, keep an eye out for this one next month.

The Paranormal Diaries: Clophill is from the creative team behind Zombie Diaries. It is co-directed by Kevin Gates and Michael Bartlett with Gates penning the screenplay.  In addition to directing, Bartlett and Gates play themselves in the film. It also features performances from Criselda Cabitac (Zombie Diaries 2) and Mark Jeavons (The Paranormal Diaries: Mothman)

The film purports to be based on actual events. It follows filmmaker Kevin Gates and a team of six paranormal investigators as they take on one of the most notoriously haunted locations in the world. The crew embarks on a journey to the abandoned St. Mary’s Church at Clophill with the intent of uncovering the dark secrets that lie within. Naturally, something supernatural is unleashed and the investigators and their cameraman encounter pure evil over the course of their three night stay at the abandoned church.

Special features on the DVD Release include:

  •          Audio commentary with co-directors and cast
  •         “Tales from the Graveyard” deleted scenes
