MTV is Rebooting Fear Factor for the Millennial Generation

Fear Factor

MTV has announced that they will be rebooting Fear Factor with a focus on millennial contestants and viewers. Rapper and actor Ludacris will both host and serve as a producer on the new venture. The show was previously hosted by comedian Joe Rogan.

The new incarnation will take inspiration from popular horror films, urban legends, and viral videos.

Each episode will see contestants forming teams. And the teams will battle for the grand prize of $50,000.

Fear Factor made its debut in 2001 and ran through 2006. It was then revived for a short time between 2011 and 2012.

Stay tuned to the site for more updates on the show as they are announced by the network.
