Ed Boon, the man behind the Mortal Kombat video game series has been responsible for the inclusion of downloadable characters like Freddy Krueger, The Predator, Leatherface, Jason Voorhees, and more in previous installments in the popular game franchise. And it turns out that he is actually contemplating the possibility of bringing all of your favorite horror killers together to do battle in an epic fighting game. It’s still in the idea phase at this point but it would be amazing if the concept actually came to fruition.

In a recent conversation with Game Informer, Boon  was very keen on the idea of bringing together the most notorious horror movie killers under one roof: “Yes, yes,” he said. “You know, as we’ve been accumulating them, that idea has been coming up more and more frequently. You brought it up and a few other people have brought it up like ‘why don’t you do a horror movie fighting game?’ Maybe one day we’ll do it.”

What are your thoughts on being able to battle as your favorite slasher? Let us know what you think in the comments section, below. And we will keep you posted if we hear anything more on this.
