The new A&E series Epic Ink follows the day-to-day goings on at the Springfield, Oregon tattoo shop Area 51. The studio specializes in sci-fi, horror, and pop culture themed tattoos. An upcoming episode of the reality series will feature Elvira: Mistress of the Dark as she journeys to Area 51 for their Friday the 13th celebration. While there, Elvira (Cassandra Peterson) pays a surprise visit to one of her biggest fans and gets her very first tattoo done as well.
The episode in which The Mistress of the Dark appears will also see the artists at the Area 51 studio tattooing a George A. Romero inspired zombie design, a portrait of Elvira, and a futuristic ray gun. The episode, titled Friday the 13th, it set to air September 17, at 10:30 PM Eastern and Pacific.
