The picture is directed by Chris Ethridge from a screenplay penned by Jayson Palmer. Ethridge and Palmer served double duty on the film, also acting as producers. And Michael H. Harper served as a producer on the project as well.
Attack of the Morningside Monster takes place in the titular town of Morningside, NJ, which is normally a sleepy town but when the residents are plagued by a series of brutal monster attacks, drastic measures must be taken to ensure the safety of the townsfolk. Sheriff Tom Haulk and his deputy Klara Austin team up in an attempt to stop the attacks in their town and ensure the safety of each of their citizens.
When describing the film, Ethridge was quoted as saying: “We are taking a character-driven approach to the time-honored tradition of the masked killer, with equal parts blood and real human emotion.”
